E-voting fraud - two discussions
By David Weinberger, 11/16/2004 - 8:06am

Salon has a point/counterpoint on election fraud in Ohio featuring Greg Palast and Farhad Manjoo.

NPR's On Point on Thursday had a call-in featuring Farhad as well as Heather Gerken and Steve Ansolabehere, from Harvard and MIT respectively, and Thom Hartmann.

oooh, Harvard

They must be, like, smart.

Stolen Moment

Isn't that where you went, Matt?

My whole view of the "stolen election" meme is that this is a waste of precious time. Manjoo pretty well refutes Palast's claim that "Kerry Won" Ohio.

Are there problems with the voting system? Yes. Do we need to push for reforms? Absolutely. But did Bush somehow win this election illegitimately, as in 2000? I don't think so.
